Want to Save Hassle and Money?
Imagine this:
Your existing hard drive is cramped and too small for all
the applications you want on it. So you decide to move all
your applications and data to a new, larger drive.
If you do it the old way, GET READY FOR A HASSLE! The following
table shows what you will have to do, and when you are finished,
the new drive probably will not work! But, with DriveUp,
Cloning (Mirroring - ALL file systems) or Upgrading (Expanding
- FAT file systems ONLY) a drive is a breeze. Just two easy
steps, and the rest is handled automatically. It couldn't
be easier.
Compare and See How
Easy It Can Be

THE OLD WAY:
1. Install the new hard drive; FDISK and FORMAT
the new drive.
2. Install the operating system
3. Re-install all your application programs.
4. Copy all personal files and data.
5. Configure the OS hardware settings.
6. Configure the application settings.
7. Cross your fingers and reboot!

USING DRIVE UP:
1. Install the Hard Drive
2. Run DriveUp

Here's How To Put DriveUp to Work for You
Copy, Upgrade, Backup, all Under DOS
DOS Application - DriveUp software runs on a DOS-bootable
PC. It is a DOS application program and uses a simple command
line interface without requiring a mouse, Windows, or even
a fast computer. The user interface is menu driven and
simple enough for novices to use. All you do is connect
a second drive into the system, boot DOS, and run the program.
Copy (Mirror) - DriveUp copies a standard low-level track/sector
formatted drive to another drive that can be mapped in
CMOS RAM to the same geometry, regardless of the actual
target drive geometry, provided the target drive has equal
or greater capacity. It copies any PC operating system
from one drive to another regardless of the format, whether
DOS (FAT16, FAT32), Windows, Win 95, Win 98, Win NT, Novell,
OS/2, UNIX, SCO, or LINUX. It supports IDE, SCSI, and parallel
port hard drive interfaces.
Upgrade (Expand) - DriveUp upgrades drives,
too (FAT file systems ONLY). It will move a small drive to
a larger drive by expanding the partition of the small drive
to take up all the available space on the larger drive. This
is typically the feature you need when you have Win95 on
a 2.1G drive and you want to move the whole thing to a new
6G drive. It will also convert the file system of the source
drive from FAT16 to FAT32 on the target drive. It does not
expand non-FAT partitions.
Back Up - DriveUp is ideal for backing
up your hard drives by making a copy of the image. This is
often more sensible than time-consuming tape backups which
do not economically or quickly capture the entire contents
of large drives. DriveUp makes an exact duplicate of a hard
drive, byte-for-byte, sector-by-sector. By swapping your
backup drive with a damaged original source drive, you get
your system up and running immediately.
Three Versions from which to Choose
Personal Use,
Professional Tool,
Multi-user Site License
DriveUp is available in three versions:
DriveUp Personal - This "end user" version
will copy DOS partitions from one drive to another and
it will dynamically expand the partitions to take up available
space. It will not "mirror" a drive, nor copy
from a larger to a smaller drive. It is available in a
single-user license only - NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE Retail
Price - $69
DriveUp Pro - This professional version does everything
the standard version does, plus much more. It will "mirror" a
drive by copying sector-by-sector from one drive to another,
without regard to partitions or other drive structure information.
Thus, it will copy NTFS, LINUX, UNIX, OS/2, and any other
non-standard drive structure format (such as CPM used in
some voicemail systems) from one drive to another. It will
also perform dynamic partition expansion to fit the target
drive (FAT file systems ONLY), and it will dynamically
shrink a partition if the target drive is smaller than
the source drive (FAT file systems ONLY). Retail Price
- $199
DriveUp Enterprise - Same advanced features as the DriveUp
Pro above - except you are purchasing a Single Site/Multi-Seat
SITE license for UNLIMITED PCs and copying to multiple
hard drives simultaneously. We understand how big an issue "license
management" has become for some companies. Retail
Price - $399
Our mission for you on this one is clear:
1. Keep it simple!
2. Make it affordable!
DriveUp Pro Gives You a FABULOUS Bargain!
That's right. Our DriveUp Enterprise version gives you
a multi-seat, unlimited use license. Read the below problem/solution
to see what that means.
Problem #1: Most software comes in the
box for use by only one person or only on one system at a
time. But what if you have several technicians who need to
be on the road in different parts of town, or who are cloning
several drives at a time for systems you build? Then you
have to buy that software several times just to get your
work done.
Problem #2: Some other software companies
only let you clone a certain number of drives before the
license runs out, and then you have to buy the software all
over again. As a result, your wallet gets double-dipped.
Solution #1 & #2: DriveUp is available
in a Multi-Seat license for one easy price. That means you
can use multiple, fully authorized copies for your technicians
at no additional cost. Furthermore, there is no limit to
how many times you can use the software to copy drives.
What You Get in Your Package
DriveUp includes documentation and software on one 3.5" software
diskette. OEM versions are available for bundling with hard drives.
Act NOW, And Prevent Annoying Drive Upgrade Problems
DriveUp delivers more value for the dollar than any similar
disk cloning tool. Don't wait till you NEED it, because you
NEED it NOW. That's right. NOW. You need it for daily or
weekly backup of your hard drives, and you will need it every
time you buy a new drive you need to clone.
